finally got it goin, and oh my god was it worth every penny and every second. It is the first time i've driven anything this large. i've been testing it on pavement (front of my house) it is like an animal. and it's kind of a neighborhood disturbance as my street is narrow and very populated. Cars are stopping and asking questions usually "how fast is it. and where can i get one?
Thanks to all who reply on these forums

I've got the same problem with the rear shaft in my G3R. It is about 80mm from the center of pin to the center of pin. How do you solve it? Any replacement?

no, i didn't fix the shaft, i just bought traxxas HD plastic shafts and cut them to fit. It wasn't what i wanted, but it works for now, and if i break they are readily available for little cash. good luck
