I think with the right set up and emaxx can go 100mph.

it was on the cover of rc car action (just so happens one of the ones i dont have) a few years ago. ill see if i can find something about it.

The way I see it, electric has way more potential than nitro. Nitro is limited by fuel, and electric by the batteries. Nitro fuel can't really be improved much (except nitromethane %), but batteries are getting better every day.

to much nitromethane and the engines will turn into fireworks :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

wouldn't the esc be more limiting than the batts? well - currently anyways..... i mean - you can always have massive voltage batteries or whatnot in some rc, but you still need the esc to run those batts.......
spose batts are limiting too with size and weight?....

i dont really knwo what i'm talking about, so dont mind me -lmao-

With Lipos you can get really high voltages, and then match those with a 36cell NiMh controller (up to 11s Lipo), and you have a setup that is far superior to nitro. The maintenance would also be a lot less, but the cost would be greater (there is a price for superiority).
