Yes on the male on the esc to motor. Yes it is a ways back from the red jumper. It takes a good soldering man to put the board together. I wish I was that good. :D

Cool thanks! I get to do some soldering now, and to see how much I'll burn myself. :) I always do something stupid like picking up the connector too soon after soldering it. Not hot enough to blister, but still smarts.

Well, I'd bet that most of that board is wave soldered. Maybe someone
solders the boards together, the caps, and the wiring, but that surface mount stuff is a pain to solder by hand.
