Lst diffs in the maxx cure alot of problems...

Al cases, 4 spider gears, HD cup options for cheap, they look better, you will get major ass from the womens, etc...

All you need to do is make up some spacers for the sides of the diff case, and open up the pinion snout support and the lst diffs drop in. You do need an adapter to attach revo/maxx driveshafts to the pinions, but mike makes them. As for outputs you can mod up some revo stub axles and reuse the sliders to the wheels.

I had decent success with 3905 diffs, but they will never hold a candle to the WORST 1/8 scale diff.

hi all...thanks for the advise guys, neil stop lying, overseas is good enough??
i just bought a fastlane ally g/box case for me e-maxx and ohh dear,
only two of the motor plate screws will go in (other hole is out of line),
the motor plate locators are undersize so the motorplate is very loose against the case. and the flat mount surface for the gearbox isnt flat, one side has a higher flat on.
so ive just paid nearly £100.00 for a peice of scrap alloy.
really its pathetic, i could get a better fit with a chainsaw.
its taken 2 months of e-mails and still no replacement case??
this case was made on a cnc machine capable of working to around 0.005mm tolerance and the locators are undersize by .40mm, that tells me the person who set up the job really screwed it up badly. whats the point of a £60.000 machine if the operator can't use it? might as well use a file/chainsaw/fire axe.
got me off one one again
see ya all...

Sorry to hear about that. Did you acquire this directly from FastLane or did you order it through RCM MonsterMike? Either way I am sure that MonsterMike would be more than happy to straighten this out for you. Shoot him a PM and see what happens.

Alot of people have had fitment issues with the FLM half-case, but its normally internal issues ( bearing recesses too shallow ). Any chance of fixing it yourself or is it really scrap?

Not everything made in England is great though, just look at British Leyland vehicles...

hi all...to be honest i tried the motor plate boxing day found the fit/screw holes were so poor, i see no point in trying the internals,
(probably be fine and the replacement i get will have an internal problem) as for modding it ,
well not really i could cut up some shim stock to pack out the loose motor plate but then only two screws can be fitted so its kinda pointless, cant re-drill a hole .50 from a hole then tap it, besides this was dear and is advertised as presicion!! it should fit like a glove.
it was bought from monster mikes shop and i e-mailed him, must say it was a prompt response but he told me best to deal with them personally.
as for that i e-mailed them 2 days after christmas and im still waiting for some action!! 2 months ago

yer some bl cars where pretty s'*t neil, except the v8 sd1 3500 ive had a few of the 6cly ones too, in the day they where the daschund dangly bits.
not no more tho lol my bmw has more bhp than the v8 and its a 2500 6cly.
dinners doing so im off...bye all....
