maybe you know how to do this?
But yes.. you are right! i need more pics and info.
I actually airbrush all controllers.. so the paint sticks hella good.
Then i clear coat it with krylon fusion clear coat..
A freind of mine had told me the same thing about how i should use some type of adhesion promoter so i will look more into it.
If you would like me to mod your controller hit me up and lemme know what all you want done!
Well if you think about it.. you pay about 12 for shipping to me then 12 for shipping back. Also if i need more parts to fix it the prices will adjust accordingly.. but generally no other parts will be needed.
what do you think a good price would be for me to charge?
In the past I have fixed almost every issue with the 2 methods I used.. reflowing the board and the xclamp fix..
so yes, my methods shouldd fix the e74 problem.

$40-50 is ok.
$30 for rc-m members would be nice
They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

haha okay I may edit the site and change that up, but im hoping people come to me as i wish to have much lower prices.
It should take me MAYBE 2 hours to fix a 360 which includes time to disassemble, taking the chips off, reballing the chips, and reassembly.
so 20 bucks an hour seems pretty good to me

A iPhone is a digitizer, they can be pretty tricky depending on your model, hop over to ifixit.com, you can pick up a pretty cheap replacement kit for a 3G, for about $60 bucks, compared to the Apple's $200.

Ryan, how much would you charge me to flash the firmware on my 360 drive? Its a BenQ drive out of a Halo 3 360, btw.

Much appriciated. When you figure it out, I can save you a little work and just pull it out myself and ship it to you. I wanna put a Talismoon fan in it and a couple other small things.

Alright man! I'd appreciate it. I'm honestly not sure what I want to do to it other than some LED fans and change the ROL on the front, which I've done to one already. Since its the Halo 3 edition, I really hate to cut a window in it, but I'm thinking about it...It took me a couple years just to get the balls to open it up...

t-maxxracer32, try http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_images.asp for the html stuff. It's been a while since I have been to their site, but they have a cool try it yourself section where you can modify the code.
I might have to send you my XBOX 360. I modded it (LEDs, paint, internal hard drive, internal WiFi, 12v fan) and it was working great. I got a rrod and did the x-clamp fix and a week later it went out. It happened almost immediately after I charged $15 of points to my credit card!

ya I can understand why you would not want to open it up and everything... I am one to always buy the best warranty possible because you never know what can happen.. but when it comes to the 360... i say screw the warranty.
most of the mods I do are not difficult it just takes time and you need to do a little research to figure it all out.. if you want to add some LEDs to it hit me up and ill get you the schematics for it.
If you ever want to buy LEDs go to http://www.unique-leds.com/index.php...roduct_id=1871
totally legit site and the LEDs are stupid cheap.

That is always the worst.. when you have this sick 360 then the stupid RROD comes and its ya hard.
once i get everything up and running I will probably make a new thread or at least go through this one and PM everyone who may need me to fix theirs.
thanks for the link btw

That's cool you got it to work. Have you ever used a ring fader from Sick Mods? I used one in mine and it is bad ass! They came out with a version 2 that adds a lot of awesome effects. I would have to guess that a lot of people would want this. They also have cheep LEDs.

How do I embed a youtube link?
