if they are the new e-maxx diffs, they would last a wile. exspecially if it's a smaller system. i've got a mamba monster 2200kv on a 5s LiPo, geared kinda low for more torgue plus i have badlands on beadlocks so they not light eather. they have held up for about a year now. i've just got the plastic diff cases and FLM bulks.

The diff is made for traxxas bl and nitro trucks, but are they so bad or is the buggy diff just better? Do you understund My question?

I live in Sweden and i cant buy ue stuff...

-Stock diff and FLM bulkheads(and with luck buy i UE diff house from ebay)
-FLM hybrid with some buggy diff, but its much money..

What to do? I think i Will use MMM2200 4s but trottle down the gas.

The new emaxx diffs will last a while- how long depends on how much abuse they get- lots of stopping & starting will strip the teeth sooner rather than later- the UE or other 1/8 diffs will outlast the truck usually..

The hvmaxx pro systems just come with different kv motors- 4.5 is fastest, 7.5 is slowest. That also means the 4.5 will run hottest and be most sensitive to gearing,- most people opt for the 6.5 for general bashing, its a nice mid-range motor for speed and power, easily accepts gearing for 20mph upto about 35mph, in a stock weight emaxx ( 10lb-ish ). I think that would be a good choice for the kids to use really, they'd have a hard time killing it unless they drive it into a lake or something..

Is the 1/8 diffs in a standar Size? And is there some bad diffs?the ofna diff i found doesnt cost that much, but is it a good diff?

Many people say novak is crap and the have heat problem... Is novak
good stuff? Is i just a bad driver when the esc burns up? Novaks stuff cost less them ezrun and other Kina stuff..
Is the hv PRO with 6.5 motor a nice combo?

The ofna diff and hotbodies diff are the same size ( cup & bearings ), though there are a few 1/8 diffs that are slightly smaller- cant remember off-hand so its best to stick with the ofna of HB ones; prices vary, but not by a great amount- both are great diffs

Novak is good when it works, a royal pain in the anus when it doesnt; just today some guy on another forum has had to send his new hvmaxx system back twice because it broke down for no apparent reason ( locked rotor, that wasnt locked... ).

Its 2/3 the price of a new MMM system though, thats the main advantage ( along with not being too much power for a young child to handle ), although you could always look at the hobbywing escs and motors, or even a brushed setup ( kershaw designs 650 motors and an evx2 esc or something along those lines ). Its all personal choice really- you can tame down the MMM, get a beefy brushed setup, or use a hvmaxx and save money vs the MMM....

Yeah, 2200 motor is better for a full sized MT, the 2650 would work but you'd be limited to 4s lipo, no higher, and gearign would have to be lower to compensate for it being a smaller motor.

I havent decide yet but maybe i Will go for stock diff. And they Will fit FLM bulks?

Yes. Pretty much any brand of bulks will be fine, just avoid the integy ones, and avoid oens that have alot of metal machined away to save weight- tends to make them weaker & uglier looking..

I have order FLM stuff and ACNC rear skid.

I Will use the stock diff with FLM bulks.
Is it any idea to use some alu diff housing with the diff? any good brands?

I think FLM make diff cases for the 3905 spec diffs ( they are different internally vs the 3906 diffs ), but I doubt it'll make a huge difference really; the money spent upgrading the stock diffs still wont make bullet proof as its the tiny spider gears that break- cant fix that without upgrading to 1/8 diffs. I'd just run the stock plastic diffs and tone down the throttle on the esc to spare them some stress.
