well, i have seen the mamba 8k, 3s lipo on radar hit 70, i am running about 10,000 more rpm than that and BrianG's speed calc says it should actually 118.64mph but i don't think that is realistic......

Well, at that speed, wind drag really comes into the picture...

And I thought the 2s 1800mah EVO20 is not enough. I dont think it'll fit in place, though.

I can agree with the above about the speeds of the 6.8 tekin.

Im running the 6.8 too. Using 4s 1500 flightpowers. the flightpower is a great fit on my carbon chassis.

Wow!
That's really great. I said the Evo20 would not fit in the tamtech frog, but I checked the dimensions and I can say that it'll fit.
What speed did you reach, Guerilla?

Well back on topic. What are my options as far as Neo motors? At the moment I think I'm going to pick up a factory team rc18t or rc18b. They are by the far the best bang for the buck, especially with the used price as the other kyosho cars have an overpriced resale value.

So far I still want to do Li-ion. I'm wondering if you could help me out Batfish in finding a Li-ion pack that works. I'm guessing 2300 mah will do, as I heard mini's have huge run times in comparison to 1/10th.

I have an rc18mt and a miniquake on the way and both will be brushless. the rc18 will have a 5400 mamba and the mini quakewill have a mamba esc with a golden horizions 4700 heli motor in it

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

I believe he spent something like $850-950. I did some math a while back.

That rc18 has a mess with all those wires. But all in all it is very nice.
