One of the best brushless Revo videos, really shows the power...

5s LiPo, 8XL? I think, Mamba Max

Video on the race track (1/8 electric converted buggy), although not actually racing.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...01892610&hl=en
The video was taken my first time to the track with the buggy.

Since then I did take 1st place in a 1/8 sportman B main. That was with the newer power system (Neu 1512 2.5D and Mamba Max ESC) It was only a B-main, but since it is 1/8 scale racing, every other buggy out there was nitro.

I think people doubt brushless cause they relate it to the old power.
Back years ago I would have doubted it as well. I now know better.

Hey, that's a pretty nice R/C! Have you posted anything on the build, or got some pics? I might be interested in putting one of those together myself.

I saw a video once where a Nitro and a BL truck were tied to weighted baskets to see which one would win. Well, three guesses which won! However, I can't seem to find that video anymore. :(

I posted these earlier this summer

Savage decked out with an STS28 (3.4 hp)
Maiden voyage for the Emaxx still wasnt close to being set up.
It shows how a brushless can out torque a 3.4 hp nitro.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...80691493761562

This is a few laps later, as the Savage is getting lapped for the second time.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...76671010954799

I've tried to get new videos now that the Emaxx is setup but the Savage driver isnt to keen on it.:005:

Hah very good vid. I could watch those kinds of things all day :)

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

I haven't posted much about it on RC-monster. Don't want to hi-jack the thread, but I will link three pictures (large size) that will let you see detail. THe battery is Enerland 5AH 4S.

Brushless Hyper 7 picture 1
Brushless Hyper 7 picture 2
Brushless Hyper 7 picture 3

Every since I bought my first brushless for an airplane, I can't stop the brushless trend. It is expensive, but low maintenance and high power.
