None of you guys have heard of CorrosionX ..... all the gas boater guys use it. It is used same way as dielectric grease ... the difference being it is not a grease more like an oily spray that adheres to electronics but is totally electronics freindly.

I have never seen that stuff before. I just use plasti-dip for the servo, and a ballon for the reciever.

The mamba Max ESC already is waterproof if I'm not mistaking, the internals are covered with a layer of some sort of varnish. I'm not saying you should submarine it but I drive my car on kinda wet tracks and nothing happened :-) so far.

Thanks,
Update it has been a while now scince i posted up my thread, i waterproofed it just for some kicks.(snow only comes durring winter around here).

Man.... how fun snow basheing can get, on top of the excitement nothing broken of some 4FT jumps!
What i was most surprised was when i could completely submerge my truck underwater and be fully operational!:)
WHAT I USED:
*Clear Silicone
*Some Cling Wrap
*Papertowels
*Duct tape
If your wondering..??"papertowels"?? i wrapped them around my batterys so any what that entered. It would soak it up. The rest was easy and fun scince it was a first timer!
As for the motor there wasnt any done with it.(Brushed) Some times when the water dryed it would kind of seize the motor abit, and would feel as-if the mesh was tight. A bit of WD40 solved that.

The snows all gone now and i stripped the truck and now is wating for some new parts for the racing season.
