I would think the pricing may be a tad higher as they are going to be new versions and beefier as well. All the new parts should be interchangable with the old, or at least the top and rear plates, not sure about the lower plates though.

I think i know what might change;

the lower plates are made for 3300's. the newer cells are larger in diameter, not to mention lipo. the gmaxx strap sucks IMO. they rip if you use as advised.

if George is smart (and he is) he will make a new battery mount, suitable for lipo's as well.

I use two of the straps to make them work with security, on each side...LOL

Yep, i know there are work arounds.. that's why i said 'they rip if you use as advised.' but still, it is a poor design. the 1" wide version lasted exactly 4 minutes before they got torn.. I am not too keen on them, and with lipo's they are no good either.

Would be cool if they offered bulkheads too, so you can build a totally Gmaxx truck. Personally I just need a suspension kit and will order that when the sites open again. That, and I need my order of FLM bulks from 2coolrc, if they ever turn up.....

Thankyou for rubbing it in. I should have got them here at the same time as the chassis & extension, but I think they were out of stock at the time- it pays however to stick with familiar people/places. I ordered from here before (steel idlers) ages ago but they turned up real quick considering the overseas posting delay and customs etc. I will give 2coolrc until monday and if I dont see anything on my doormat then it would have been 3 weeks or more since I placed the order- they will get a nice email question regarding the delivery, and if that dont help, the nice people at MINT will be paying for some replacements. Off topic slightly, but has anyone had trouble with RC4WD? Of course you have; my version 3 replacement punisher shafts were finally posted just before xmas, but they are still outstanding ( I dont even have the TXT-1 anymore so they will be going on ebay as soon as they arrive, if they arrive that is....). Its all good fun.

Not really rubbing it man, sorry. LOL, well, customs can hold things up to from what I hear. I once bought a strobe slipper from a guy in Canada, ti took 1.5 months to get to me....and that is just crossing the border! I can't imagine what you over seas guys do!
But, Mike is a great guy to deal with! If you know some one that you usually order from, that's cool, but I would suggest getting to know Mike, he is the greatest guy out there!
