It is pretty easy to lose a pound by switching tires. The wheels, on the other hand, are not that heavy. I like the stock wheels myself (good strength/weight combo IMO). Bow ties are my favorite tire at most tracks.

Its all very well trying to shave weight off my using smaller tyres and lighter wheels - but don't forgot, the emaxx is a monster truck and is designed to have oversized wheels! Half the fun is being able to run over pathetic little 1/10th sedans....:L: :L:

Yeh, lol, I guess, although you can still have massive wheels and lose weight. ;)

Ha.....knowing me I'd probably loose the 287th screw, not strip it. I just took apart my diffs and lost the spyder gear shaft, so I've know got to buy a whole knew spyder gear set - guess it can't hurt to have some spare gears...

If you get the rims. Take a small drill bit and drill all the way through the houles. You will get a tighter grip on tire and less likely to stripe. I have set of the gold. Wish i would have waited for the sliver. That is just the experence i had. Get the dewalt screw gun out to take it apart. Saves time and forearm.

Peace!
