Turbocad can be had for just a tick over $100.
Aren't there limitations on the student version of Solidworks?

just boot up limewire or go on any freeware site and search for a well known program you want.

Or instead of Limewire, Frostwire. Unless you illegally download limewire, you will have ads. With Frostwire you have no ads. And you shouldn't pirate software *wink*wink*, so go with Frostwire or pay $30.
