I'll 2nd the Imex foams for parking lot running. Damn things are a ton of fun. Not sure about for pure speed runs how they hold up. I have some that I've taken up to around 50mph, but I cant vouch for them not blowing apart at higher speeds than that. I have heard stories of the foam tearing away from the wheel at high speeds.

And BTW Mike... They start out at 5.25" tall. and wear donw to 3.2" when they are dead. Im sure your 4.25" was just a typo but just dont want anyone to get confused. I have a set of foams made for 1/8 bugies also. Those start out at 4.25" and are also great fun for on road parking lot racing. :027:

I have the Phaltlines that I used for my high speed runs on my Maxx. Almost no balooning at all. And they look sweet. Very low profile sidewall. We'll see how they hold up to my next attempt at 70mph.

Forgive me Lord for I have sinned. I just bought the phaltlines & adapter bundle- my poor bank account.... But that has got to be the bargain of the century. In the UK (its raining again) they cost £33.24 for 2 wheels/tyres, so thats £66.48. Add onto that the 17mm hex adaptors which are about £10 for 2, so say £20 for a full set of four, and you're looking at about £90/$180 for the same thing!!! I've wanted a set of proper on-roads for a while so I can go for a drive in a big carpark near me- couldnt pass on an oportunity like that- thanks entjoles for the link, and everyone else for the suggestions.
As for longevity, I dont use the truck as often as I would like (work & weather put pay to that), so they should last a good while.
