By that time brushless will be obsolete. We will be running fision nuclear reactors for batteries and photon impulse drives for motors like in star trek.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Wow that is a low KV motor. Even on 12S its only spinning to 46K or so. Why not more rpms?

JZE .. that's a video I haven't made yet.. I only have the KB45 on it right now.. but I'll make a video of it anyways... I'm goin' to be out of town this weekend.. so I should have a video by next weekend... it's just goin' to be a pain in the arse to lock the center diff... I hate doin' that...

BP.. Yeah, I know, customer service sucks... but they do make great motors....

How does the KB45 run on the big GST?? I was thinking about buying a pair of them for 2 more big trucks I'm buying. Only problem is the 6mm pinion, I don't know where to get them.

the KB45 runs great on the GST.. I'm surprise how powerful it is compared to the Feigaos.... that's why I bought so many of them KB and got rid of most of the feigaos... I'm running the 1000KV KB on the GST right now... You'll see when I post up a video... I have a lathe to drill out the holes.. but since you live in the states, you could order the pinions cheap from sdp-si.com

Hey mister mushroom grower , I don't even know if I would bother with lehners anymore . IMHO they are way overpriced as with anything else coming out of the fatherland , $750.00 for a schulze 40/160.......thats more than the average laptop . Steve Neu has stepped up to the plate with motors that are better balanced , more efficient and a whole lot cheeper . I have a Lehner 3080/7 , 2280/13 and a 1950/10 all of which are no where near as smooth as my Neu 2230 or 1527 . A 1527 will do anything a 2280 will and better.........................................

Can you post some pictures of your setups they sound very interesting

Just my 1.99 cents Canadian.............................

overpriced yes... 1527 can do what a 2280 can do?.. I'm not sure about that... Mr. new said the 1527 can take spikes of up to 170 Amps.. whereas the 2280-HiAmp can take over 400 Amps.. Efficients of the neus aren't better.... depends what/how you run the motors... but then again, I could be wrong, I have never ran a new before.. and I have 2x 1527s coming.. which is about the same price as one 2280-HiAmp... I've always had great luck with Lehners... Hey, you may be right.. I hope you are!!!!

some of the older setups are on my website...

Which 1527's do you have coming , in 1/8 scale hydro's the 1527's can stand toe to toe with the 2280's . a 1527/1d probably could take spikes that high . They are underrated on there website . I have heard of Neus coming out of a corner in a boat spiking well past 200+ amps .

2280/10.....740kv
1527/1.5Y..750kv

I'm gettin' the 1527 925KV... have you ran the 2280 Hi-Amps?.. they're quite different from the regular 2280s... same size and everything else... but it's just different... that 2280 can pump out 10000 Watts of power man.... I don't know if the 1527 is capable of that... but hey, For $300 it's well worth it.... 2 of those will definately take on the 2280.. :) I just hope the neu motors aren't assembled in Mexico...

Sorry my screw up with the Kv's , but the 1527's are pretty much a 2280 equal . there is no way you will get 10000 watts from a 2280 high amp or any 2280 for that matter , you are looking at where the 3080 are

Peter, are you positive?.. because LMT said the Hi-Amps were different and was able to deliver more power than the regular 2280s, the stators and rotor are different as well... http://www.lehner-motoren.com/motordaten/Motordaten%202280/2280-5.HA32V.xls

Those datas from LMT were the only reason I purchased this motor back then... because back then, I knew that they will finally have something like the 40.300 out...
