Tower... tch tch .... who needs Tower when you know Mike? It's only good for posting links, so people know what you're talking about.

Hey guys, even with the stock titans you don't need first gear. I used to race an E-MAXX in combined monster truck(ele. and nitro)and i won on a regular basis with a stock maxx and i only used second gear. The only time i used firstwas on the first battery packs. that was when i decided first gear was too much(too torquey)and never used it again
Work because i gotta, play because i wanna
People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Those battery holders for the twin force were discontinued, along with the Twin force!

By tower, if you look at towers website it says just about everything kyosho is discontinued. According to kyosho they plan to support the truck for some time and have no plans to discontinue it. I think tower is a little upset that kyosho does not use great planes as there distributor anymore.

I see. Kyosho is one of the most popular brands here, right after Tamiya. You don't see Traxxas stuff here too much.
Kyosho (TF) parts are still perfectly available here, and if I check the web sites of suppliers, no sign of discontinuations.

The parts are still available, just the truck has been discontinued is all. And Kyosho no longer solely distributes through Tower.

I don't know the drill with RC, but with electronics, the manufacturers are obliged to deliver spareparts for 10 years after they stopped producing an item..
