They set up both cars identically to make sure they were equal - however, they used a setup which was tuned on a Nitro vehicle - so obviously it favors a nitro engine's power output. Had they simply thrown some thicker center diff oil in there, I'm sure the result would have been a bit different...
And 3S Lipo? LOL...I'm sure it was more like 6S. Not only that, but 2200's aren't the greatest packs to be using. Some FP3700's would give much more run time and probably be much faster...
I love how they basically said that even though the powerband is more linear and more controllable, because we can't simply mash it (only because we were too lazy to change the center diff oil), we think the nitro version is better...
