Hardcore make a case for it too,and metal gears. You could run a strobe with some slip and a not too aggressive clutch and that might help.
Maybe a MGT tranny could work in a T-maxx.the new ones are all steel gears i think.
There's loads of MGT ones on e-bay.you'd want one from the new 4.6(.28)RTR.
I think it might be too wide to fit between the rails though.Coolhand might know if it's too wide.

The mgt is wider than a tmaxx tranny. It also has the spur gear turned on the tranny to a tmaxx.
Peace!

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Well I decided to go with the NovaRossi (with a little help from Mike). I got the Savage running tonight with the .28 and wasn't that impressed with it (top end wise). It had HUGE amounts of torque, just no top end. Since I don't race, this seems to be the better choice.
Now if my dang brother can find that conversion kit, I'll be in good shape. He says he can't find it. I'll have to go to his house and help him. I'm starting to get excited.

The guy I bought it from said that he had everything "beefed up" allready.
It shifts into second way too early. I need to figure out how to adjust it. Anybody know if it's like my T-Maxx tanny?

There's holes on the side of the tranny, I'd assume it's in one of those......no idea which one though.
