I would take that bet in a race just for kicks... I was going to run dual 37/48 1000kv 12pole outrunners & dual MM's in my E-Warhead on 5s each.

If you watch the 3rd video, the wheelie was at about 35mph. It yanks the wheels up at any speed and causes me to lose control. Check out the ending of this video and thats with my wheelie bar at the lowest level.

Get a longer chassis (FLM or the new traxxas one) and lower the car and its problem solved!

I have always wanted to bash at a golf course! Looks like a ton of fun!

Nice vid!! Looks like the wing is pulling dbl duty as a wheelie bar! Bet if you took the wing off you could do a full flip by punching it!

Hope mine turns out as well, I'm waiting (patiently) on CC to iron out all the MMM probs - planning on using that to run a BigMaxximum. Thanks to you, Matt, mine is off to a great start! My brother is a builder in Lilburn, not that far away, maybe when....

At least his buy it now price is $650. After seeing several of them sell for $800plus you know these are in demand and hard to get. If you are at all interested grab it while you can. The Lightning chassis is the best EMaxx setup there is.

I highly doubt it. I still flip my truck which has the gmaxx chassis, UE Monoblock, and setback arms from a standstill .

It was the best during its time especially when Lipo is not yet the mainstream. It sits the truck so high making it prone to rollovers.

Don't get me wrong, it's nice but with another chassis like the gorillamaxx , the rest of parts (UE suspension, GEnIV servo saver, other UE doodads) can be added making it as nice while lowering the center of gravity making it less prone to rollovers which turns to faster cornering speeds.

I think we sometimes forget the power to weight ratio (torque output included) of these vehicles. There may not be much that can be done with these v-twin vehicles short of changing the ratio.

btw, beautiful truck plettenberg

Oh cmon rabosi, you know me from the TRX forums! Weight is my number one priority.

The answer is no. And yes, mine is faster.

Matt, you can't lower the center of gravity of the lightning as low as the gorillamaxx chassis. The lightning CoG is still as high as the chassis itself .

It might be low compared to the thunder but not to a gmaxx chassis.

With my suspension setup this low, it doesn't scrpe the green of of our golf course.

Matt, I got mine from you a while back, with towered UE VBS, all nicely polished and everything. I know Scott - my paypal acct knows him only too well, lol. I'm getting there, just disappointed about the MMM - had planned on running that, but looks like its going to be a while longer before they get it figured out.
