What pinion size are you considering? I run a 15t on 4s in my Mugen. I would go 12t or 13t on 5s. I ran that same motor on 5s in my revo and found it so overpowered for anything other than speed runs I dropped to 4s.

Well, I am thinking about that I would take 12-15t pinion. IS that a true 5S LiPo pack is too overpowered to drive anything else than speed running ? 4S is maybe better choise because I want to drive something else than speed run all the time :D . Good handling is the main thing, speed can be offcourse good with 4S LiPo batteries too. That 4S looks like good quality and price battery: http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...=PQXP4s600025c . Anyone agree ?

I run 15 and 17 pinions on 4s, that is geared 40 and 45 and find the power just right. It is on the overpowered side for the track, but that suits my driving style. 5s on a 1515 1y is really just silly power, unless you have a pin point precise throttle finger you may find it too much power for other driving than speed runs.

Its a money and power waisting if only possibilities to run are speed running and silly bashing. When I had Traxxas E-Revo, I used BK wanderer XL and 4S motor and I can say that it were going very good with those batteries, Maxamps 10.000mAh 4S LiPos.

How about this motor: http://cbracingshop.com/catalog/prod...roducts_id=123 ? Looks nasty and enough turns/volt. The neu 1515 1Y is maybe better choise, but I am just asking about that motor.

Well now I have been tried to use Ofna Jammin Super Torsen differential in my Mugen MBX5-R , and I have an problem. It won't fit good !! It won't fit normal kind of center differential basement well, because the differential is too big... I had to use "violation" to fix it, but I don't think that its working right.

and there is another problem too.

How can I fix those broblems or do I need to change my car to another one :D ? This car was CHEAP but its very clean and good to any project. This is why I needed to do my thread to general questions... :D .
