Did I miss something?? I thought you were racing not going to WAR! My bad!.. Hell yes I'll lone you the battle truck!, the thrower is a little low on fuel but a quick trip to the auto parts store will solve that issue.

I want video footage if it goes down (well that and what the parts that are left!)

for what it worth, I have had successful tests firing marbles out of the grenade launcher, so I'm thinking you might want to use steel BB’s..

Just a thought!?..

PM. For my address and you can pick up whatever you need / will get a win Sir.. I’ll even give you 400 rounds of paintballs if you need them.. ??

Nothing!.. Hahahahaaa..

That would be very cool, (I can't emphasize that enough) but I'd like to do this competition under my own power. At this point, It looks like Neumotors is going to sponsor me so I will get some nice batteries and maybe a motor too! Plus, I think the other contestants might get a little pissed off if I am destroying their trucks... Plus, it needs to jump over a volcano as one of the many random-ass obstacles in the truck, and from what it sounds like to me, I don't think the battle truck could do that. It would be very cool, but I can't.
Shaun, I'll be thinking of you as I drive across the minefield!

@everyone:
Update:
They (TV show) are coming to my house this afternoon to get a perspective of what my life is like outside of my RC world. That should be interesting I suppose.

So, how did the interview go? Were they intrigued by your "other life"? You didn't act like the typical reality show tool did you? Did you Nascar it up and mention all your sponsors in one single sentence? I'm just playing! I hope it went well for you! Keep us posted!

It was fun. I'll try to keep you posted, but everything (even what they know) is still up in the air at this point.

Not really, because there really is no information available.

I had a great time on friday. I have to drive out to Irwindale again today for some more shooting... Only problem is that I don't think any of what they are filming now will be aired. I guess we'll find out. Yes, Neu is sponsoring me. I will try out my neu 6s 4900 25c pack today!
I don't know when it will air, neither do they. It depends how the TV industry likes the show. Here is the PITA though. They told me to bring my truck and all my gear, and when I get there I find out that they are giving everyone loaner trucks to drive. The course is literally impossible to do with the cars they have given me and 2 of the other 4 competitors. I and another had stock slashes, another had a stock bandit, and the lucky one got a stock 3905 e-maxx, who tore the course up. The hills are too steep and sandy, you can't see your truck 1/2 of the time, you don't have enough time to accelerate out of the turns to go off of this 5' ramp and fly over a volcano, and so on... They are modifying the track today and I'm looking forward to a slightly easier course. Most of the time you can't even tell where you are, since you are standing parallel to the truck, you have absolutely no depth perception. The driver stand is in completely the wrong place and the course is not possible to complete with the slashes or bandit. I was thinking "God, why can't I drive my truggy..." most of the time.

Wow, thats pretty lame that you had to use loaner trucks. Maybe for the actual filming you will get to use your truggy. Got any pics of the track at all?

And what RC's are the other guys running? (not the loaner trucks but their own RC's.)

My dad got a couple pics yesterday. We (racers) complained about the track so for today they are changing it.
The other 3 people had:
Brent- T3, T4, B44 (AND A 4PK!)
Daniel- MBX6, MBX5T, almost every truck you could imagine...
Girl (forgot her name ) a T3

It was. Unfortunately, what was filmed over this last week was just a "seller" to get the show to air. It will not be shown on TV. If it does go to TV, they will call me in march-april and we will do some more filming.

Ah well it was a pilot episode. You should call them and set up a meeting to tell them what they could improve about their episode to make it more viewer friendly (for a fee !) Also hope you got something out of it, gas money at least. I remember when I was in a movie when I was 12 they shaved my head like a reverse monk and all I got was 25 pounds (england) and all the oreos I could eat for a whole days work LOL
