E-Maxx platform w/custom made, one-off RummyRC chassis:

MR-3680-1600V2SE-5
MMM
20/66
3.8 rims/crime fighters
6s Zippy-H 25c 5000mah

ESC settings:

Punch: 30%
Drag: 0%
Brakes: 30%
Reverse: 50%
Start Power: Medium
Timing: High 15 degrees
Normal brake curve
Simple one point (gentle) slow start ramping to full throttle curve for more precise low to medium throttle control, and still pull's wheelies on demand at half to wide open throttle, good for jump control. Motor never gets over 130 degrees. 20-25 minute run times.

No idea what it's top speed is, all I know is it gets there in a hurry!

I also had it installed in my aftershock, revo, savage X, and a gs storm buggy. I have a hard time keeping rims on my trucks and I've killed many diffs, drive shafts and axles with this motor..

It seems that 3.5hp is too much power for current day nitro/electric RC's to handle.

Cheers.

I've got the most unique setup ever

CRT .5 pRo
Medusa 36-50-3300
3s Flightpower 30c 3300mah lipo
MM w/ external bec
2point2 gladiators m2 compound
13/46 gearing
jato shocks
temps: 125 motor, 135 MM, 90-100 on the battery.

Only thing special is the look of the shocks, motor mount, and wheels. The rest looks like crap. hehe

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

I regret I ever sold my Medusa, but here is how I used it.

TC3 built to withstand high power, 90wt shock oil, gold springs, TC body with custom spoiler and side stabilizers.
Mamba Max Pro
Medusa 3650 3300Kv
Turnigy 5s 5000 25C

My best radar was 89mph, but I think if I could have balanced it better it would have gone faster. Every pass thru the radar was sideways.
10 min of high speed dragging back to back and motor temp averaged about 145F
