cool. Yeah, I traded my revo roller for this 8ight roller. And yes, I was the starter of the biggest traxxas thread to date, the fastest revo challenge. a pictorial would be great. I also heard that on the 1.0 people were tearing up diffs like crazy. Is that true?

only the diff cups. the insides are fine. if you get the 2.0 diff cups they will last just short of forever. nova-rc also used to make aluminum diff cups, that i run in all of mine but the 2.0.

I havn't heard of that problem b4. My diffs have been truckin for 6 months now and i havn't seen any signs of wear on the gears. altho if want to upgrade anyway u can get heavy duty housings but the stock ones should hold up fine.

1. do the losi 2.0 diffs drop right in?

2. Does the RCM mount come with screws to mount the motor in the mount?

3. Do have to drill my chassis at all?

4. Do I cut the radio tray?

here's what i did:

http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20559

to install the RCM mount just replace the rear plastic nitro mount with the RCM mount. then, place the small bar looking aluminum spacer under the front plastic nitro mount to make the mounts even. everything else is self explanatory. this build dosen't take any more than about 30-45 minutes, max.

this is literally all you'll need to know....the diff goes in between. you can see the spacer in the front mount. that's it for the motor mount/diff. don't worry about it dude, it's an easy build.

http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...d=RCMLosiMount

match that with my pictures and it should all make sense.

Got it all in. you were right, it was extremely simple. the hardest part was making an ESC Mount. I will put up pictures later. I used bulletproof glass to make the ESC mount and battery tray.

With a 48 tooth spur, what pinion should I run? I am running 4s on a 2200. I don't want to be geared high for sop speed, but I don't want it to be slower than nitros on the back straight. I have a 13t and a 16t. What would be best?

i was gonna say 15, but try the 16. i run a 13 on 6S on my track and it's very controllable.

you don't think that will be too hard on the ESC or batteries? Would 13 be chronically undergeared?

not for 6S. 4s, 15 or 16 is good.

ok, well, I am running 4s, so I figure I should run a 14 or 15. Guess i will just run the 16 and keep an eye on temps.
