Keep busy though, r/c would actually be a good outlet ( think of all the extra cash you'll have too now that you dont have to spend it on her, spend it on bills instead ), try and build some bridges with old friends and family- suprising how sympathetic & understanding people can be about these things, I've seen how GFs can take over one's life to the detriment of your other friends and relatives.

You'll probably have the last laugh though, a relationship between a boss & emplyoee is never a terribly sound base really, especially if someone grassed on the boss to his boss say ( area manager/ head office etc )....

Take care, and remember; porn.
thankyou, thats got to be my first smile of the day.

i dont think i will have more money, she had a stabe income,it wasnt alot, i get paid when investers free up more funds of when a job gets finished.

i burnt alot of bridges for her, i lost touch with alot of people, im a diffrent person than i was back then im not really sure i want or should look for old freinds, she was always my best freind, i told her that all the time

i know my spelling sucks im not useing the spell checker today, i really dont care

come wrench on my cars? My buddy has been a framer for 13 years, he just took a landscaping job as a laborer. The trades in MN are definitely slow right now.

Get those last reminders of her outta there.

Take care of yourself, nobody is worth losing yourself over.

When you're ready it's dollar beers at the King of Diamonds 4-6 and $10 lap dances. On me. I know your not ready to hear that, but I'm long overdue for a run to KOD.

Wish I could help... only time will.

Nothing is harder to deal with than a broken heart. I think the feeling sticks around all damn day and night, and the smallest little reminder of your happy days will send you into a days worth of tailspin and staring at the wall.

My first girlfriend cheated on me. I was 18 and she was 28, so it was bound to happen. I wanted to throw a rock at every girl I saw for about a week, then got over it.

Then I turned the tables and did the opposite, habitual cheater.. not trusting anyone. But looking back, I was just as much of an a$$ for doing so.

Now I call 'em straight. RC's will be here long before and waay after any of you gals will, and NO, you can't drive any of 'em. Don't even look at 'em too hard. Just like having a lil fun every once in awhile..

Seriously tho, cheer up man. You've got more friends here than you know of. I've also got an extra medussa motor if you need it. PM me..

i kind of feal diffrent than you, i hate being alone, i need someone to depend on me and someone that when i need them i can deepend on them, all day i have been thinking of finding someone else to fill that gap in my life.

the title to this thread really bothers me now, its not funny any more

I can sympathize with the way you feel, even if we are coming at this from different angles. But any old "brand-x" person ain't going to cut it, right? Find the person you left behind 8 years ago when you took a detour with this young lady. Get your life back man. It's all about emotional balance. And as with our beloved hobby, the more balance ya got, the faster out of the corners (ie, the moments where life has you down) and the the better you fly.

I don't drink either, had to offer. I've got kids, I'm a straight shooter (well, whacked in the head, but a good person) And have plenty of r/c's that need wrenching. I'm just across the river. I've never met another RCM member in real life. It could be a dream come true

Get a pet cat or dog, or something else cute that offer lots of affection ( tribble perhaps? ). I live on my own & it does get kinda lonely, but being in a 5th floor flat makes owning anything other than fish a hassle; the mouth action on gold-fish is kinda tempting though for a singleton....

it will have to happen i will get afew other local rcm members that are buddys of mine to come out or you could drop by stillwater, we have some great parks to bash at, or we could take a trip to hobby farm and go racing. its up to you, i know you were haveing some troubles too so it doesnt need to be soon.

Cool. Anybody I run with has learned from me and I picked their setups. It would be cool to run with someone "on my level".

Yeah, no hurry. I'm not going anywhere.
