Guys I just emailed Hitec about these servos and I quote "they will be released in September and the Hitec HSB 9380th will retail around $200". I'll take two please:)

Ouch. I was thinking seriously about selling my 7955 and 7965 for one these when they came out but if they are going to hit the market at that price I think ill wait. I could almost buy two more 7955's at that price now.

Well, that's retail price. Retail on the 7955 is $179.95. So I would expect the new servo to be around $20-$25 more than a 7955.

I'm guessing of course. But if the brushless servo retail is $199.95, and the 7955 retail is $179.95 -- well, you can see where I got that. :)

Well if that is MSRP then I might just have a go at these then. With a coupon on Tower they should be very affordable.

I'll be taking 4 of them, looking forward to these.
Like the poster before said, Tower's coupon will help.

I will be buying several for sure.

Bad thing for you Patrick is that you will be selling less Ext BEC's in the future.

Of course with royalties off of the design of these who knows, it may just balance out huh........

I saw on another forum that there is another delay with production. One of the servos might ne released at the end of this month, and the other two next month.

Nothing yet. I am holding off buying two new servos and will really need 4 here soon. I wish hitec would let us know something. I have tried searches to no avail.

I won't consider my new build complete until I get set of those servos on my truck.

Ok guys,
I got tired of waiting, and it looks like we are going to wait longer. I just got off the phone with one of the guys with Hitec and the reason the 9380 servos are delayed is becuse the Castle motors are not up to Hitec specs, and they are burning up. So they are going back to drawing board. He told me that some time in the 1st 1/4 of the new year:(
