By removing the red wire from the plug, you are disabling the BEC, so there is no need to remove the black jumper. that's how I've ran all my controllers,
Micro 1895 (had it for 4 1/2 years) BK replaced it with a Micro 2095...I've ran them in this config several years and have never had a problem, ranging from 12 cells up to 16 cells. So if it works with the jumper in but with the wire removed your fine.

SJCRSS, you seem to be right, it's really strange that the instructions say that we have to cut the red wire + unplug the black jumper!!! It's one or the other, but not the 2 at the same time... i'm agree with you.
I will submit your remark to BKelectronics and see... Your way is pretty logical, I think it's the way to go...

All thanks for your help all, I hope that it's my solution. If it's right, I will PM Mike to update the Warrior instructions, cause I'm not the only one to encounter these problems...

I've been in brushless way back when Modeltech was around, and back then you just pulled the red wire...and didn't even pull the black jumper. I've never heard of doing both, but I have heard of doing one or the other.....In my case ...because the MIcro's are programmable via a pc.....pulling the black jumper wasn't a option for me...so I made a short servo lead with the red wire missing...and then I plugged in my controller lead into it....that way all i had to do was unplug it and I could program my controller.....but still have the BEC disabled when I plugged it into my lead with the red wire missing. I hope this helps.

glad I was able to help...try dealing with the program for my Micro controller that's on my computer...it's in German...luckily I downloaded the manual for it and had it translated by my wife's grandmother who's from germany...it made decifering it easier....But I'm with you...they need to do the instruction in more than one language...other than just English......not everyone can speak it ..let alone type it.

yes....Bk's service has really improved from back in the day....it's alot better than it used to be....when i fried my 1895 micro....(somehow I sent 123 amps) thru it...I sent it to BK...they said it could be repaired for $150.00 ...but in the end they sent me a Brand new 2095 Micro in place of it for the same price....and it only took 13 days...from the time i shipped it to them till I received the new at my doorstep.....great service......plus Mike has great service also..

This is the end of this topic, BK answered me after a looooong discussion...
I didn't have to cut the red wire!!! I just had to unplug the black jumper, the effect is the same, in fact you cut the red wire in unplugging the black jumper... But BK recommended me to not cut the red wire, but to prefer unplugging the jumper...
I will try this las solution, and let u know...
The instructions are not as easy for you my english colleagues, as for us, frenc-speaking guys...
I hope that these 2 possibilities (cut red wire/unplugged jumper) provide the same results... if not i will take a gun and explode my Warrior!!!!!!!

yes that's not so easy ... poor french speaking guy... perhaps that's the reason why my E-maxx doesn't run more than 3 packs without any problem... :( we don't understand all ... ahem... :) :007: :032:
