Has anyone run a 7XL without thermalling? Seems thermalling with a 7XL is common but maybe I haven't been paying attention ;)

I run my 7xl on 14 cells with 12t/51t gearing on my 1/8 buggy when i had it with no thermaling issues. But i have a fan on my speedo .

They are not avalible anymore, they never went into production. But if you email brian at BPP he might have enough parts laying around were he could make you one.

I have all the parts to build them, we built a handful to race. Rc dropped off the map it seems for a bit ( still slow), so there wasnt much point in making a ton of them. Awesome truck on long tracks, the tight tracks give it a workout...the shorter revo based trucks are easier to drive on the tiny rough tracks. With single motor/lipo they can work very well on the short tracks though. On long big tracks (like we have in the south), nothing can touch it.

How much do you charge and do you include the bpp or are you just talking about the chassis.

Just shoot me an email and I can give ya the rundown on price and everything. Its more than just the chassis...its like 30+ parts that make it up.

I have this truck as well and I can honestly say it is very nice. I even tested this beast with 36 volts.

Actually they are not that heavy. The TrueRC that I have in the truck is a little heavier then the 36v pack.
