Mike, the input gears, are they hardened?

Stock baerings work in this idler, and yes, Dafni, the input gears are hardened, which is why the idler must be hardened as well.

I'm gonna be putting in an order for a set of these very shortly. May I ask, when you say hardened are they case hardened (carburised) or are they made from an alloy steel. Thanks.
Btw. they look machined to a very high quality. :D
