Thanks guys!

Jordan, I got the Neu from Mike of course. Yes the 5.5mm plugs are awesome. I use them on everything now. Very easy to solder and a solid connection.

So! I bought some stuff recently...

RC-Monster Battery Tray Kit

FlightPower EVO25 22.2V 5000mAh LiPo

Should be up and running in 2 weeks or less. Then the tuning begins...

Here's some tasty pics for ya!

It looks alright, but, if I could do it over I would. Blame it on crappy masking tape.

Nothing wrong with that- I've seen far worse before...

Thanks, Neil. I've seen worse, too, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist! I sprayed the blue too early and the thin black stripe bled a little bit. I had to whip out the Q-tips to contain it and then re-spray the blue.

I hope to have the FP LiPo and RCM battery tray early next week. Tuesday would be nice because I have Wednesday off from work as well. Weather permitting, I'm sure I'll be driving it next week.

Hey what'd I tell you! I got the battery from UPS today! The first thing I did was take it apart! I had to re-do the balance connector to work with my AF Blinky.

It came out very well- wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be.

Test fit in the chassis:

Just waiting for Mike's battery tray. I'll be making an ESC mount tomorrow out of some 1/8" polycarbonate.

Thanks! I want to start ripping up my street with this thing ASAP!

I just remembered I need a PiStix adapter to use the Sentilon!

I might need to turn the brake servo mount to allow more breathing room for the battery+tray.

Soya! It is huge, though. Here it is next to my MaxAmps 4s 4000mAH pack:

MaxAmps, I know who your daddy is!

Hmmm. I haven't tried setting it to a pistol radio yet. I had just assumed it wouldn't work. That's great that it does. What radio are you using Blunten?

Interesting..... I have the 3PM FM. I'll have to try it out after work (today). That would simplify things if it worked.
