That is weird because you can clearly see two battery compartments.

Anyone remember the Mlst (epic failure) diffs... I hope traxxas has done their homework and has something like a vxl pede diff in there. Anything smaller (lets hope it is not a scaled down traxxas diff with 4 internal gears) will be toast with a decent bl system...

By the looks of it, the motor is 28mm x 47mm(ish)... (edit... after a closer look, it may be a 24mm diameter motor) that's the size of a feigao 380S motor. A medusa 28-40 of a neu 1107 would probably be ideal. But I'm with Linc on the diffs. Traxxas had better have done their homework on this or else they will be little more than pretty paper weights. I'll be sticking to my detta st until these trucks prove themselves reliable.

On another note, those ugly red plastic push rods definitely need to go...

on an even further note.... I wonder if traxxas will eventually come out with a mini summit crawler?

There's two sides to every schwartz, he got the up side and I got the down side.

Looks like the Revo was being jerked around pretty good in the vid. One would think that Traxxas went over the diffs pretty well if they went ahead and included a VXL brushless motor with the deal. I think I damaged my MLST diffs by using lipos alone..

Size looks pretty good for a mini. slightly larger than a rc18t but smaller than a crt.5

Hopefully I can squeeze a 10th scale battery in there... When is exotek going to come out with a chassis for this one?

wow, that's impressive, it moves like the revo as well (weight transfer). sounds like the gears are solid, but time will tell. now that i see it, i really want one

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Personally, I don't get it. I won't be getting one, just to clear that up.

The E-Revo is a very capable off-road vehicle and can handle numerous types of terrain. The joy in having a 1/10th scale is that it can handle most of what you throw at it. The 1/16th have a lower ground clearance. This will be a serious limiting factor in its off road ability. That is fine if you consider off-road to be things like grass or hard packed dirt, but if you consider what off-road as I do, these trucks will not cut it.

They will be fine for parking lot races, and light duty bashing, but in my opinion that is the extent of it. Nothing against the vehicles, but like I said, I don't get it. Sure it has a few perks due to its small size. More portable, and that's about all I can think of.

I would rather deal with a larger vehicle that can handle what is put in front of it

Not trying to start an argument or anything, but after owning many 1/18 vehicles, I realized that they are not truly built for offorad use and I am sure the mini e-revo will be similar. They are mainly for the person that says "hey, I'm bored. Wonder what I can do right now..." Running them in front of your house on the street, in the house, garage, small plastic ramps in the grass, etc is what they do best. However, what fun is for some people, isn't always fun for others...

Seems like this revo will be more like 1/14
