WOAH!!! 60 - 70 wt oil??!!!

that means i'm weigh off!! haha pun intended.:026: i'm currently using 45 wt oil with 2 hole pistons!!! if i'm not wrong thats what the dayum instruction sheet told me to do!!! GGRRRRRRR!!!

well last night i swaped pistons on the rear set of shocks to the 1 hole ones, same 45wt oil (havent bought heavier oils yet)....damps soooooo much better instead if the boing boing effect in front. so the rear goes ffuuuwap psssttttt instead of boingaboing....

oh by the weigh:005: ....my sis in law's got my bathroom scale!!! AARGGHHHHHHH

weight of truck's gots ta wait till the weekend i guess....sorry for the delay guys...and thanks for helping so far....

2 hole with 45wt? EWWWWW! J/k, glad you found a better piston for your liking. imo the 2 and 3 hole pistons are usless.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

No it wil not, but if you have stock shocks the cap can pop off.

Actually, if you have weak shafts (I have heard that Integy's do) in the shocks then on somethimes the oil will make it so slow that the shafts can bend instead of the shock compressing but this is rare and is only when running VERY heavy oil. You have nothing to worry about.

Bending a shaft like that is pretty rare.

Using thicker oil with 2 or 3 hole pistons does have its advantages. The biggest one is that the thicker the oil, the less likely it is to leak out of the shock.

But it only gets so thick and if 70 wt is needed for 1 hole then image what the 2 holes might need for a heavy truck....

that orange turned out nice. Are you going to get a white wing and make it orange as well. Just a thought.

Peace!
