I just thought of something. You say the motor is getting hot. Maybe you should also try gearing down a little. Maybe a 5 turn needs to be geared lower. The motor really shouldn't get too hot on only 7 cells.

Please help me out a bit;

What is the total gearing ratio? 1 : XX?

I think that the 1930 is able to deliver some torque.. it only runs at 30000 rpm..

All I'm hoping for is that the motor is not damaged or something. I bought it from Fine Design FOR 190 BUCKS and I'm gonna go mad for sure if the thing is really damaged. About the gearing I do agree with SERUM the gear ratio is more than enough for the motor and I'm supposed to gear even higher, but I never thought things would've turned out like that.:M:

Hmm. I would try another battery as has been suggested, and perhaps another motor with that controller as well. If the controller is not getting hot, but the motor is, it may be under geared, but then it should have insane acceleration. What radio do you have? Is it possible that you have the throttle EPA turned way down? How about your connectors? There muct be something causing this situation. We only need to find out what.

Well I have the Futaba 3PK radio, I didn't check the EPA yet, I am using 4mm bullet type connectors. Yes there must be something wrong that need to be checked.

SERUM,RCcarnut and MONSTER MIKE, I DID IT. The t4 makes wheelies with ease. Finally its like a fast comet. I would like to thank you all for your help. I've checked the EPA, reprogrammed the 9918 and ofcourse I've completely locked down the differential and the the spur gear clutch. The EPA was set at its neutral percentage which is 100% but I increased it to 120% and I've modified some other set ups in the 3PK(man! this radio is simply incredible) and on 6cells the 1930 pushed the t4 on its back and before it could flip I slammed on the brake and the BK9918 was strong enough to like" down boy, down" lol. If the Lord wills so, I will use the 11 cells pack that I have and I will see how fast the t4 will go. For now, let me sweep the floor on 7 cells. Later.

Yeah..

Nice to hear..

Once again, the theory shows right..

The output of the motor can't be any higher than the power the batteries can deliver minus the mechanical and electrical losses...

In other words.. Good batteries+brushless=goodtogo..
