It is a direct fit for the stock bulks.
The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

Is the Ofna 7.5 8-gear still the diff of choice????

I would choose the Hot Bodies Lightning diffs. Tuff as nails and you can also get aluminum cups for them, but its not needed at all...Not to mention, if you need the super low ratio, you can get the Pro version's (from the Lightning Stadium truggies) that have a 4.3:1 ratio instead of the standard 3.31:1 most buggies have.
