HMM myself and a buddy of mine just accquired a revo rtr and a rolling revo from another friend, and we want them both evo's (mine will be bl his powered by dewalt stuff).

I wish I had more info on what exactly will be produced, because I am all for production mods, instead of trying to design and fab myself (love to do it, but no time).

Is this mod going to be a cheap one, or will it utilize the gmaxx chassis? (which makes me think, if it does, can you run a stock E chassis for now? 1t 7/hr I dont make enough to buy a kit plus the gmaxx chassis right now :( )

You have a PM Mike.

I believe Mike is planning one with the stock revo chassis, using a single speed g-maxx tranny.

^^That^^ would be awesome... But if it uses the single speed, couldnt you also run the stock tranny as well, since it should fit in the same space?

I wouldnt mind having two trannies, one for crawling (two speed) and one for racing (gmaxx single)

Yes you could use both, but the gmaxx single is actually more durable than the two speed.

Ya, but for rock crawling and general offroad abuse, I would need/want the two speed so I can get it way down in first, but still have second so I can take it up to 20mph or so instead of being stuck with a single speed geared down running like 10-15mph.

You know what would be killer for the guys using a emaxx as a crawler. Would be a single speed conversion using only first gear. Just a thought.
