Jerry2kone's Collection - 11.22.2008, 10:35 AM

Ok so I finally took the plunge and got a photbuket account and now I am ready to post up some photos of my stuff. I know there are a lot of guys out there with some pretty incredible R/C gear to show off and I am not here to compete with anyone. I got started in this hobby like 3 years ago when my dear wife gave me a stock E-Maxx for my birthday knowing that I have wanted to do R/C most of my life, but just could not afford to put the time or the money into it. Well that started the addiction and three years later I am into this hobby in a big way (15 to $20K) for trucks, tools, batteries, chargers, controller, and parts, and only Maxx's up to now. I have asperations to do other vehicles, but until I am satisfied with my Maxx collection this is it for now. I have 4 metal Maxx trucks all about 75% completed. I now have the materials to complete them all, and just have to find the time to get busy. I just finished building my shop here in Korea and my two boys and I are very excited about working together building, learning, and having fun doing what we all love to do. Race, Bash, build, repair, and learn some more.

These pics are only a week or so old, and already the trucks have been changed due to more upgrades. The FLM & UE trucks both weigh right about 7 to 8 lbs without batteries on board according to our digital scale. I am building the FLM truck to be the toughest thing around, and I plan on trying out some awesome power for it. The UE Lightning will be my high speed project with a double monoblock and custom drive shafts. I am also thinking about getting one of the Plettenberg Bolidos for it. That waill be some real fun. Everything in these babies is built to last and no plastic toys for me. So here they are.
