The losi Battery tray fits the Muggy quite well, I only had to drill one hole.

i ordered one from mike but i ordered the 45x168 with the shelf for the esc but for some dumb reason i was thinking my turnigy 5000's would fit in there but the tray was way to narrow. so i finally sent it back to mike and am ready for the right sized tray, so as soon as he gets it and i get my credit ill get the right one and all will be good, still thinking about those shock towers, it changes the stance so much!

What tray did you use before? I will probably use the Losi tray on mine, I like it in my 8ight-T.

This should fit with the label upwards:

It was an old custom zippy tray from mike that i purchased from another member, but when i sold my CRT i included it. mike makes great trays and I try to support him when i can.

Can you measure the ride height? (from the lowest point) Wonder if this will be able to replace my Savage Flux for crazy bashing.

I was reading about your muggy's weights & decided to weigh my LST.

It came in at 12lb 5oz = 5.58kgs ready to run with a 5S 4000mAh.

Not bad considering my X1CRT tipped the scales at 5kgs = 11.02lbs ready to run with the same pack.

Yes, the diff itself is, but the mount is different.

There's about a 1/4" difference in height of the mounts. I was going to try to use my RCM 8T mount in my Muggy, but it wouldn't line up correctly with the other stock muggy mount. The bearing size on the muggy is larger than the 8T mount also.

Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES

Got my roller, some questions:

Should I run a plastic spur? What's the largest one that will fit without spacers on the RCM mount? What pinions will fit?

How do I get rid of the stering slop?

Will LST towers give me more clearance?

Can InnovativeRC make me a bit wider chassis on one side? (it will be tight to fit the 6500 Hyperions flat since they're 70mm wide) Anyone got an email? Can't get a response from him.

1717 or 1520? (have a 1520 in my Savage now)

Plastic spur will work, 46t is max on stock chassis, 48t if you go innovative chassis, but I would recommend a steel spur for durability on heavy rig.

New steering parts get rid of most slop, also use a turnbuckle in the center instead of the factory link.

LST towers will only help with LST shocks AFAIK.

I can find Innovative's e-mail when I get home.

The 1520 should be plenty (running one in mine), and the 1717 may limit gearing options (big pinions required).
