It highly depends on different material/anodization/polish, so better avoid IR measure shining metal surfaces.

If only I could avoid that

On a positive note, it appears that Feigao may come around on the motor. Steven at Offshore Electrics doesn't seem able to do anything about it, but Feigao wants some pics of the motor to see if the windings are fine (in which case they could possibly just send out a new rotor).

glad I didnt buy these motors.....from the youtube video I saw it seemed like it was faster than a stock mamba monster with 2200kv motor.
