I got to check one of these out that a guy had at the track a couple weeks ago. i was really impressed with it. Looked like a solid litte truggy. Much more stoute than the other mini truggys out there now, and much more capable on the track as well. Looking forward to seeing the conversion kit for this liitle guy. SHould be really nice.

If losi makes a sct out of this, then I will buy it. I checked the Ten-t out when my lhs first got them. It looks great but I wont buy one unless there is a class for me to race it in.

After some "re-search" i found ot that HPI 17mm hex kit fits the tent (ten-t) # 86925
I havent tried it, but from the specs it should fit:)
I was hoping to ude 2.2" wheels on it, but im pretty sure they wont fit:( unless you have about 50mm offset:-P

I just hope Mike doesn't take all the time building a conversion kit and then Losi comes out with the e-version. If that happens, all that time is pretty much wasted. Granted, Mike's kit will probably be better quality-wise, but more people will just get the e-version and not bother with the conversion. I guess the best he can hope is if Losi does do an e-version, that it isn't as robust (seems to be the case for many e-versions) making his kit a better value.

Probably not too bad really. The stock tires are close to the same diameter, but a little wider than buggy tires. So, the width might be a little off. You can get an idea from the pic posted earlier in this thread, but here it is again for your convenience:
Personally, I think 8th scale truggy tires would make it look like a MT, which might be ok for bashing since it will offer a bit more clearance.

That's not a bad idea! Maybe I'll cook something up this weekend if I remember.

This Ten-T is hyping up to be a nice conversion! Might be the new craze. But I too am surprised that Losi didn't release an electric version. With the craze of electrics and conversions now-a-days I'm actually shocked they didnt. I'm surprised they don't offer an electric truggy either... I sure hope they don't jump the bandwagon soon! I hope Mike can get yet another great product out to this community!

They probably do have something in the works; they just got this out first. Then again, from what I hear about Losi's BL systems, maybe they are waiting until they come up with a better system...

If you do decide to go with 17mm b/truggy wheels, you will need the 14mm to 17mm hex adaptors, which I think Mike is gonna make as part of the kit. I know he's making some for me anyway.

As i can see if you mount 1/8 truggy tires, they will hit the body:( And it should be geared low

lol, nope. I figure why spend all kinds of time painting a body that will be all scuffed up within 30 seconds of me running it. The only time I run a painted body now is if it comes that way.
