Jhautz said in one of the forums that he spoke with some of the people at Quark about the Monster-Pro being not very good with 6s and if there's gonna be any changes to the controller's software.

The guy, as far as I knew, does not have any plans in modifying the controller, but in accordance to Jhautz's statements, the guy said that they're developing a more powerful controller due to be released sometimes next year.

I think its good news.

It's gonna take a while, though.

Is this project on hold for now captain?
For a 1950 10t motor. I would run it on 8s lipo.
The motor would still be in the safe limits of rpm and stuff.
The power will go up as well.
It will be easier on the esc for it won't have all the amp draw needed for the
higher gearing. Less amps for same wattage. :D

Peace!

My truck is only needing the monoblock and body.
Either than that, I'm using the g-maxx extention with my truck and it looks almost like the Mugen MBX5-T.

I'm also discussing with Mike the possibility of installing a 1/8 buggy/truggy stabalizer to the front end of my truck.

Serum,

I was asking about a possible design revision to the 125 to help with heat disapation and the 6s issues and they told me that rather than revising the 125, they were going to come out with a new ESC designed for the large scale apps like we are using the 125 for. I guess the 125 was intended as the ultimate 1/10 but through the use of heat sinks we are finding it a good 1/8 or bigger esc. They basially said they were going to come out with a new ESC to add to the product line with better heat sinking and a more traditional package with the heat sink on top. It will be intended for the large scale apps like MTs and 1/8. He had no firm info on this, just that it was high on the list for 07 projects at Quark.

Now you know everything I know..... Not much. Just talk right now.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
