I got everything soldered up now and I really like those 6.5mm bullets. They are beefy but were a breeze to install. Now just waiting for batteries to charge. I am only doing a test run right now as my 3s lipo packs are not in though.

Nice connectors, I will have to buy some more, what size are they, 6.5mm?

That is an awesome setup! When I had that Revo I ran a Feigao 7XL through a MM on 5s2p A123, with a 20t pinion. Top speed was ~45mph, and the 7XL (finned can) didn't go over 160deg. F. The MM on the other hand would thermal in a couple minutes without a fan. If only the MMM had been in production while I still had that truck...
And yes, 6.5mm plugs.

It seems powerful, but the hacker is getting near 160f! I think the center diff has been leaking, so I may be over revving the motor, not much load with the front tires off the ground. I currently have the punch control at 100% and the timing at normal.

Well, my bec just bit the dust, so I am out in the first few minutes.
Oh well, it happens. I will just call CC in the morning.
It was smooth as butter while it ran though. Align 600XL motor. Did some nice low speed passes, and it crawled around with no hesitation. All in all not bad for a 6 pole sensorless outrunner.

mine met its maker today. Best 12 minutes of my life that ended in dissapointment (next to that 1 time in Thailand) The guy at castle was all "sorry we had some bad components go out in the controllers, send it back we are moving the monsters to the front of the line to be fixed"... I said dude dont worry about it, it was totally worth it !! 1515/1y on 6s was all id hoped it would be, even if for that brief moment lol

Quite a few have died in the last 24 hours as most people have now recieved their MMM and have it all hooked up. There are still probably hundreds out there that still haven't recevied theirs or mounted there. Not everyone that owns a MMM is on this forum
Check out this MMM
There also seems like alot of fans are breaking

Ouch...that looks pretty painful! Looks like perhaps a short occurred somewhere there, around the status LEDs (maybe a separate issue?). I just received my MMM today, but don't have anything to run it in just yet...so I hope it's a good one.
As for the fans...well, anyone who jumps their truck (be it on a track, or bashing) is going to be delivering quite a bit of punishment to that little computer fan. Still, it's gotta be a pain for it to keep breaking.

Your pictures you posted of a failure is atypical. That's a main FET failure. Did the fan die on that unit prior to the failure?

Patrick, I sent my dead one in Attention Repairs/Chris, that's what I was told to do. It will be to CC Tuesday via fedex. What kind of turn around time do you expect?
I am just trying to make plans for next weekend and want to know if it will involve the Monster or not.
Thanks.
