Is anyone else having probs with the MMP when useing JR servos??

I have a 650m that causes the esc to flash lights, the light on the RX blinks, and the servo twitches to the right...

BTW the servo works fine on my RX8, and MM

So the JR 650M never operates correctly, the receiver doesn't bind with the TX, and all 3 LED's flash on the Pro? If this is the case, it sounds like the power coming from the Pro's BEC isn't operating correctly.

Does the problem occur when using a different servo?? If it does, then it's a problem with the Pro. If it only does it with that servo, it's a little more puzzling, especially since that servo works on other setups.

Let me know if you get any different results.

Thomas, what does the MMPro do if the servo is pulling too much current?

Also, the servo may be very sensitive to noise from the switching of the BEC, so may try adding a cap to an unused receiver port.

Got an MMPro4600kv combo coming in the mail, i have a few questions though. Also i have read both this & the other MMPro tech thread.

Do all MMPro's including combo's (with CMS motor) come with the coupon to receive a castle link adapter chip?

The CMS motor that is advertised with the MMPro on the castle website, is it the rebuildable version? I mean is it much easier to get inside the motor with these new CMS series, to ei. change bearings, check rotor, etc...

So i had to find these questions out for myself. Got the coupon for free castle link adapter, & Im quite impressed with the new design of the CMS36 motors.

Hmmm, I have to get me one. Hopefully the shaft doesn't snap off like its predecessor.

It would be really great if 5mm on the shaft was an option.

These do look much better built.

2 or 4 pole internals? I am guessing 2 poles, but would be very happy with 4!!! Given the kv is the same (although the 4600 can handle 4s now with the higher rpm limit) I am guessing the internals are updated version of the old 2 pole.
