I'm planning on bringing everything, just to be on the safe side. RC-M RC8T, e-revo, CRT.5, RC18t, and I'll prolly have a 1/16 revo by then as well. Def hoping for some sun. Rain has been a curse this season, we've only had one nice race day so far other than the pro series race, but even then they had to adjust the schedule because rain was a threat.

As much as it pains me to ask this question, will there DEFINITELY be Nitro classes?
I'm trying to get a few guys from my local track to go and one of them printed the flyer posted by Arct1k. Since it only lists electric classes, many of the guys are not willing to come.
I wonder if RC Monster Mike (or one of his minions) can possibly comment on the nitro classes?

My Guess, DEFINATELY won't know until that day. After reading the flyer from the barn " Nitro vehicles are also permitted on this race day" And racing with some of the local's in CT last year, There will be gas as well.
Although the smell / noise of nitro bothers some "electric only's", I doubt the hum of the electrics will bother the "nitro only's".
Plus....Some of them "nitro's" are still trying to prove "gas is faster"

In years past the buggy, truggy and MT classes all had the nitro and electric running together. The only class that I was aware of was the "Brushless Open" class which was basically any brushless vehicle you wanted to run.
There is alot of local nitro racers that will be there so I am positive that nobody will be excluded. At this point in time most of us are racing our electrics in the "nitro" classes at our local tracks. The nitro racers are tolerating it and allowing us to race with them so it would be pretty darn impolite of us to not accommodate them. I would personally object if they told anyone they couldn't race because their power plant didn't conform.
The best part of the RCM event in my opinion is nobody gets left out. If its an off-road vehicle there is pretty much a class you can race it in.
Tell your buddy to come. He will be able to race.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Dave,
We have nitros every year at the bash(as you surely remember from year's past). Most of the local guys run nitro, and I wouldn't exclude them from my race - especially when they show up every year to support me. :)

Cool...I remember, just wanted to hear it from the man in charge...I've got maybe 6 or 7 nitro guys coming along this year and this will put their minds at ease.
See you in a few weeks!

Well as the weekend nears I've been checking the weather. Chance for thunderstorms:-( I'm gonna have my RC8T, CRT.5, and RC18t so if it rains I'll be prepared for some indoor running.
How about a headcount of who'll b there now that we are this close

I'll be there. We have a points series race at my local track on Saturday, hope everything holds up to two consecutive days of punishment. I am brining a bunch of guys who go to my track, some electric guys and some nitro guys. We are trying to get a head count, I think it's going to be 6 or 7 but I'm not sure and if anyone breaks at the points race they may not feel doubling down. Should be a good mix of Truggy, buggy and MT.

I'm sure you can get a borrowed unit for the bash. In fact I thought mine had went, but I was able to fix it, but in the meantime several people offered to lend me one for the day. I know its a drive and expense for you, but if its just the esc you lack I know you can get one. Hate to see anyone miss out on the Bash.
Otherwise:
I am bringing:
Truggy
Revo
CRT.5
Maybe maybe maybe my nitro Savage XL, but I had to take out the DSM RX to put into the Revo and the only other radio I have is a crappy AM unit. At the very best it may be fun just to putz around on the track and maybe try some jumps with.
I really hope we can field a good batch of minis for a race. Biggest race I've done w/ the .5 was a race against RCM Mike and Chris. Chris and I dualed well, but Mike was killing us. Lots of fun on the massive 1/8th scale track tho! Sure we could do 1/16 Revos in the class as well, they are not that different.
