I am sure the XT8 can handle bashing durability wise, but it is designed and made for racing. If you buy it, you at least have to use it to its full potential which is on the race track. If you still want a truggy, I think the CRT is overall a great basher and racer.

Good luck with the decision.

well... i am not certain how nice the track is down in NC.. i will be down there for xmas so i am gong to try and convince my g/f to let me go there just to check it out!

if the track is complete crap or noone goes.. or it is rundown or something then i am not sure what i am going to do. NC is not the best place for bashing.. i mean theres nothing really where i will be going... but by christmas time i should have almost a complete setup (my g/f will prolly buy the battery/motor, servo then i will buy whatever she doesnt buy and the controller after xmas.) lets say the track is HORRIBLE and not even worth it. i might go with a savage or revo. savage. prolly the beastliest truck out there. revo can go both ways... but requires some upgrades. (i figure i either buy a 600 xt8 roller... or a g3r revo with the 1/8 diffs) or a savage x.. or IDK!! i guess it all depends on the track there.

where i live we have a pretty nice track but the owner is a deushe (i think thats how you spell it) its really pathetic... i dont wanna go to the track because of the owner.. but o well.

christmas will tell me what to do!

If "The Farm" is the track, then its not rundown or deserted, its infact one of the nicest tracks in the country.

ya ima check it out! thanks!

so i found a place dedicated to RC in NC.

found 2 nice places (well places that took time to put their info in the directory)

each is about an hour and 15 min away...

idk how my g/f would feel about me making the trip every/every other weekend. going once a month is not really worth the 1700 bucks id put into the truck.

That track looks really good in the pictures, almost makes me want to move there just so I can race at that track
