Check the backlash of the pinion after like 10-15 runs, you might want to re-shim them when the gears are "broken-in". Just a heads-up from a tester :)

Getting the 2 case halves together was a little tight. I just had to make sure the flang on the outdrive bearings was lined up correctly and then it just took a little sqeeze and it snapped right together. It actually made it feel nice and solid to me.

The shim set that I use is from Team Losi.
#LOSA6356 Metric Shim Set, 5 & 6mm.
I payed $4.00 for a pack of them and there is about 6 of each in each pack.
I trashed two rear diffs in a month and my dealer sujested that I shim the diffs.
I already have the R&R ring and pinion gears,Integy alum. diff. cases and housings but its my spider gears that were stripping.
Now there is no slop and a very close mesh and I also switched to 10K oil in the rear and 30K in the front instead of 30K in both front & rear.
TONES OF HOOKUP on all surfaces.
Not installed yet. I was hoping to get to this today, but other things got in the way. I'm gonna try and get to it tomorrow, but if I can't, it might not get done untill next weekend. (Traveling for work all week)

OK got em set up and a test run in today before my reciever quit on me.
The install went fine. Only issue I had was the outdrive shafts were a litlle long and wouldn't quite just drop in from the top using the slots in the bulkhead like the stock diffs. I wound up having to split the bulks to get the diffs in. No big deal, took an extra 15 minutes per diff to install. Other than that PERFECT. Man its really packed in there though. They use every bit of real estate inside that bulk.
I talked to Mike today regarding the outdrive shaft length and I think hes going to look at a change for future production to ease the installation.
Ran em today and they ran great. Felt great being able to just jump on the throttle at low speeds and not worry about babying the diffs.
I was only able to get about a half hour of run time on them so far. My reciever kept quitting on me and then it just quit and wouldnt start again. But based on what Ive seen so far... these things look like a real winner. TOP NOTCH MIKE.:cool:

What set of diffs is recomended for a revo 10/43 truggy ratio or 13/43 buggy ratio ?.
Depends on what transmision you are running. I'd guess the buggy 13/43 diffs would be better for slipperential and emaxx tranny vehicles and the truggy would be better for center diff setups. But do some math and calculate the gearing ranges you want and then you can decide.

I'm asking for my friend. He will be using them in a nitro revo, with the revo tranny..
Then Id say the buggy diffs would be better. Staying closer to the stock gearing that way. The truggy diffs would lower the overall gear ratio quite a bit. Youd need to go up in pinion teeth quite a bit to compensate.
