I've sent 2 emails to Joe and Patrick and havn't had anything back - I think it must be heads down and radio silence - I think iHobby is coming up - maybe a launch prep or trying deperately to get the V3 / combo ready in time.

I just got the following email:

This is a status update for the repair of your Mamba Monster ESC. We
believe that we have isolated the issues causing some of these units to
fail and have found solutions for them. We are now in the process of
acquiring the raw materials we need for the next production run.
Repairs will be the first units to ship out as soon as the next
production batch of Mamba Monster ESCs is complete. At this point we do
not have an accurate time table, but as soon as one is available, we
will send another e-mail update with an estimated ship date.

Again, we apologize for this inconvenience and want to let you know we
are trying to get your repair shipped out as soon as possible. We will
send another update soon to keep you up to date.

Sincerely,

Castle Creations, INC.

aka kiss our monsters goodbye for the rest of this season. :/ You have to figure once they give a timetable, it's still a few months away.

It's alright, we'll have them next year, :)

Well, waiting till the end of the year to drive my car isn't an option.

I think I will just go and do the "brianG" mod and see what happens.

Wish me luck

I got the same email. I think it's just a blanket email to prevent us from asking too many questions regarding the repairs and shipping of the V3s.

I'll just wait until they arrive. For now, I'm hoping it will stop raining so I can run my nitros until my 6S ESC from Luciano arrives.

Hopefully over the winter people in the warmer climates where you can still bash will continue to make them fail and send them back in so that when next spring comes around I can get one that is as flawless as my Mamba Max has been

Will there be MMM V4 or V5...afterward? I think no one expected there would be V2 on the market in the beginning. We are kind of in the progress of product development.

I would hope for Castles and our sake that they get it right with V3 and there is no need for a V4 or 5, you'd have to think their reputation would be severly damaged if it gets to that point and they would be losing a lot of customers.
