Somehow I figured this thread would turn out to be one of the longest once it got started, and here I go contributing to it :)

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

nbcaznmaster, I get my metal from www.onlinemetals.com they have 7075 and 6061 at good prices. You can get a custom cut too, so measure out the size you need for the rollbar and esc mount and it will come to you the perfect size, you'll just have to drill holes and bend it.

It probably is a wax that stays on the polished part.
It will wear, sooner or later. How long it stays on, depends on the quality of the used wax.

Mount the trays, and then figure the brace out. You could also use a cardboard template for this. Do you have a vice around?

Hey, anybody able to take a measurement of a battery pack for me right now? I've got some scrap material here at work that I was going to check for width for a battery mount, but I forgot to bring one with me.

Not sure about sub-C cell height, but I remember they are 15/16" wide (diameter). If I was to guess the height, I'd say 1.75".
