I screwed up the holes on the batt tray, i had to redrill some new ones :( so far so good though, im still looking for aluminum to make the esc moutn and the rollbar. No tmuch luck on that. HOpefully my e-revo will be done by next week! I'll get pics soon!

nbcaznmaster, I get my metal from www.onlinemetals.com they have 7075 and 6061 at good prices. You can get a custom cut too, so measure out the size you need for the rollbar and esc mount and it will come to you the perfect size, you'll just have to drill holes and bend it.

Well, my teacher forogot to get the metal from teh metal shop 3 days in a row! he said he promis to have it by monday. lol, hopefully he will rmember! Polished my old chassis and exhaust. Looks really nice and is shining!! I got thsi 3m polish thing for boats! is waterproof and everything! u think the water proof will last for a while?

It probably is a wax that stays on the polished part.

It will wear, sooner or later. How long it stays on, depends on the quality of the used wax.

well its 3M! they make them famous tapes and stuff so i suppose it shoudl b egood. They aint a crappy company

Hey, i got alminum pices FINNALLY!! so how do i bend the rollbar type thing, so its the same angle as the battery trays? if the flat top part is too long or to short, it'll screw up everytihing. How did u do it dafni?

Mount the trays, and then figure the brace out. You could also use a cardboard template for this. Do you have a vice around?

Hey, anybody able to take a measurement of a battery pack for me right now? I've got some scrap material here at work that I was going to check for width for a battery mount, but I forgot to bring one with me.

Not sure about sub-C cell height, but I remember they are 15/16" wide (diameter). If I was to guess the height, I'd say 1.75".

I got 135 mm x 23mm x 47 mm gp 3300 That is for 6 cells
