neweuser 04.21.2006 04:50 PM

I know i'm probably driving you guys nuts....it's just man, i've been reading for so long and now i can relate to what the power is going to be, and man does that motor have shaft on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

coolhandcountry 04.21.2006 05:19 PM

Remove the red wire in the plug to the receiver from the esc.

neweuser 04.21.2006 05:28 PM

Remove the red wire to use the rx external pack? Just want to make sure. coolhand, is this what you would suggest? it sounds nice and easy.

squeeforever 04.21.2006 05:46 PM

i would remove the jumper.

coolhandcountry 04.21.2006 05:55 PM

I removed the jumper myself. It is less of a chance that the red wire will short out and burn the internal bec up.

neweuser 04.21.2006 05:55 PM

Remove the jumper whether using the rx external or the ubec....is this correct squee. i know, i know...more ?'s!!!!!

Sylvester 04.21.2006 06:16 PM

Thats correct, newuser.

neweuser 04.24.2006 03:32 PM

Ok, i removed the black jumper. That was way easy, just pulled right out! now i can use a ubec or and rx pack!

coolhandcountry 04.24.2006 07:45 PM

Yep. sounds like you ready for the ubec or rc pack.
don't worry about the questions. You have to learn somehow.
Just make sure you read back thru so you not asking the same ones other people have. If you get my drift. I and most of the other guys here try to help the best we can.

Thanks coolhand. I do really appreciate it all! I ran it for a few minutes last night if you have not already read it. Have a few bugs, but i think mostly it's that i have a cheap rec pack, and need to "fine tune" my radio and i should be good. I'm trying to talk my old lady into using her camera for some vids for you guys. I want you all to see the work you helped me with!!!!!!
