Kind of interesting MMM hold down.
Check this out, it holds the thing together along with the switch, and doesn't obstruct the fan, and provides a simple, clean solution.

We've been discussing this since Thursday.
Knock Knock! Who's There? Sunday! Sunday who? Sunday you just missed the last 4 days of your life! :rules::na: |
It does look like a good hold down, and I need 2. Who is going to break into traxxas r/d and steal 2 for me?
i could use one too, but zipties work for the moment
There is nothing for it to screw too on my brushless savage. I think it needs a filter though. I couldn't beleive the amount of stuff that came out of my MMM when I very gently blew some compressed air into mine.
i always get grass stuck in the Heatsink..
I can see more of those hold downs being sold than the BL Revos! They look nice.
put me down for a couple.....in all honesty it looks like something that should be included with any mmm purchase...that and a automatic fire extinguisher device:tongue:
Might look at putting some insect/fly screen top of the mount to stop the grass/debris getting in

I was thinking along the same lines. If the MMM goes up, you won't be able to remove it by yanking it off. It will take your chassis and who knows what else down with it. I like the idea but I think they should ditch the hex screw in favor of a snap together joint, something similar to the Molex clip. |
That'd be nice.

I wonder how many people are going to complain about MMM in their new brushless e-revos. I'm waiting for the "all clear" on the MMM bugs to do my buggy project.
