Kind of interesting MMM hold down. -

Check this out, it holds the thing together along with the switch, and doesn't obstruct the fan, and provides a simple, clean solution.

It does look like a good hold down, and I need 2. Who is going to break into traxxas r/d and steal 2 for me?

There is nothing for it to screw too on my brushless savage. I think it needs a filter though. I couldn't beleive the amount of stuff that came out of my MMM when I very gently blew some compressed air into mine.
Savage: FLM Conversion, 6s, MMM, CC 1520.
Mini-T Pro: Micro Pro 6800kv, Lipo, HS-81mg, Dirt Hawgs
M18MT: Quark 33A, Y22S 6000kv, FP 2s Lipo
LRP S8-BX: RC-M Conversion, Tekin RX8 B1600KV, 6S.

I can see more of those hold downs being sold than the BL Revos! They look nice.

Might look at putting some insect/fly screen top of the mount to stop the grass/debris getting in

I was thinking along the same lines. If the MMM goes up, you won't be able to remove it by yanking it off. It will take your chassis and who knows what else down with it. I like the idea but I think they should ditch the hex screw in favor of a snap together joint, something similar to the Molex clip.
The answer is no. And yes, mine is faster.

I wonder how many people are going to complain about MMM in their new brushless e-revos. I'm waiting for the "all clear" on the MMM bugs to do my buggy project.
