Anyone use the AL servo saver for the crt.5?

Anyone using this...http://www.impaktrc.com/product_info...oducts_id=2289

A tad pricey to say the least! Just wondering if it is worth the $

Tell me about it....It seems that all of the AL upgrades from Jammin' are v/expensive...just look at the c hubs and steering blocks. Both together will cost over $ 100-....

Screw that

Run the HBs LS10 one. Thing is BEEFY, and fits right on. And then you use a servo saver/servo horn. Works very nice

I've been running the AL servo saver for about a year now.

Once I upgraded to the RCM extended chassis and also started using 1/10 truck wheels and tires with a full size servo the stress on the steering system was definitely higher. I broke 2 of the plastic servo savers and then opted to get the upgrade.

It's very expensive, but the Jammin AL parts are very high quality and strong. The ball end screw attached to the servo saver did snap once, but it was the old one from a few snapped plastic servo savers. I replaced the bell end screw and haven't had any problems at all.

I ordered mine straight from my hobby shop

Here it is at HB's site

http://www.hotbodiesonline.com/products/en/66539.html

5 bucks, and it comes with bushings, just take the bearings out of your .5 one, and your set. It is alot smaller then the normal one, Thats what you use the plastic bushings for that come with it so you can move it up. And have a nice shot at it with your servo

If you need a pic, LMK

I think you will like it. I dont know how you can break this one. Never heard of them breaking on the LS10. The stock .5 one is way to wimpy for big tires, big chassis and all that.
