I'm still working on this setup. I should have an update soon... had to order some long screws to hold both sets of shocks to the same hole on the FLM shock towers.

Almost done.. here is the front... I had a spare set of slightly shorter Ofna shocks (have 2 sets ordered to match what i have) so I went ahead and installed them for now.

I need to do more...

BTW I re-read your previous post and realized I'm doing my oil fills a bit wrong. I normally leave the diaphram in the cap of the shock then screw it in... it possible this is allowing air to remain...

I'm not really sure... I will have to weigh it tonight. It's pretty heavy with batteries installed but no more than any other normal e-maxx I would imagine.

Question Need help with E-Maxx + Ofna 1/8 shocks

Hey guys I've been having a lot of trouble trying to locate stiffer springs for these shocks other than what Ofna has.

These are Ofna Ultra LX Buggy rear 13mm shocks... the springs are 20.5mm...

These actually look really nice... I'm trying to see if anyone has put them to the test though... The design looks VERY nice and they are THICK.... hmmm

The problem is finding the proper ratio. Most of the diff's i'm finding either don't have the gear tooth #'s listed or they are 46+.

I always set my timing to "none". Start power to low and the punch control you just have to play with. A lot will depend on what battery you're running.

I had to buy FLM towers to limit travel. I'm also using the REVO extended output cups on the diff's which help keep the CVD's from...
